Managing Director
Lina Russo joined MVision in 2010. She is a seasoned private equity placement advisor and investor, with a strong background in investment banking.
At MVision, Lina manages and oversees global fundraisings, direct private placements, and evaluates General Partners in North America. In addition, she maintains and sources new limited partner relationships across a diverse group of institutional investors, focused primarily in North America.
Prior to joining MVision, Lina spent 13 years with Merrill Lynch. During her career there, Lina developed deep knowledge and expertise of the private equity industry through her experience as a placement advisor and as a principal investor. Prior to her private equity career, Lina was an investment banker in Merrill Lynch’s global communications group.
Lina graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and Economics and earned her MBA from the Columbia Business School as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
