Hussein Khalifa joined MVision in 2001 at its foundation. He is a seasoned private equity investor and an accomplished investment advisor with extensive transactional experience.

At MVision Hussein manages varied global client mandates and provides valuable expertise to investors throughout the investment process given his background. He has deep relationships in the US investor community among public pension plans and endowments, and also maintains a wide network of key relationships with sovereign wealth funds throughout the Middle East and Far East, as well as numerous institutional investors and family offices in Europe.

Previously Hussein was a founding director and chief executive of Archstone Capital, a UK corporate finance advisory boutique, supervising a private equity portfolio encompassing over 40 General Partners and a number of direct investments, and advising clients ranging from ultra high net worth families to high growth and start up technology companies in the US, Europe, Far East and Middle East. Hussein worked with multi-nationals and regional companies developing strategic plans and alliances in the pharmaceutical transportation, automotive, media, and construction industries, and earlier was involved in the agro-industrial roll-up at the Fountainhead Group in Geneva in the late 80s.

Hussein has a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in International Economics & Politics from Middlebury College, Vermont. He has completed studies at the London Business School and Peking University in Beijing China and is an alumnus of the Georgetown Leadership Seminar. Hussein is proficient in French, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of Italian and Malay.

Hussein is a member of the board of directors of the Arab Bankers Association of North America, and currently chairs ABANA’s strategy committee.
