Fraser van Rensburg joined MVision in 2005. He is an experienced private equity professional with an M&A and accounting background.

At MVision Fraser supports a number of the firm’s global fundraisings as well as maintaining investor relations with European pension funds, financial institutions, and global consultants. He has also developed significant investor relationships in Asia - in particular in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Previously Fraser was with Deloitte & Touche in New York in the M&A Advisory group where he was heavily involved in acquisition due diligence for private equity firms, including KKR, TPG, TH Lee, Hellmann & Friedman and Edgewater Funds. Prior to that he was with Deloitte & Touche in South Africa where his responsibilities included performing audit work and the preparation of financial statements. During this period he was also seconded to a large multinational conglomerate as a financial manager, which included some time in Washington DC.

Fraser has a degree in Financial Accounting from Stellenbosch University in South Africa, an Honours’ degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of South Africa, and is a Chartered Accountant.
