Elizabeth Danes joined MVision in 2007, and is a highly experienced alternative investment professional with a strong background in private equity and hedge fund investing.

At MVision, Elizabeth manages a number of the firm’s global fundraisings as well as maintaining relationships with general partners and limited partners on a global basis.

Previously, Elizabeth was a Principal at Capital Z Investments where she was responsible for sourcing, evaluating and structuring Capital Z hedge fund and private equity investments. She has served on the board of Westbridge Capital Partners (now Sequoia Capital India). Prior to joining Capital Z at its inception in 1998, Elizabeth was an Associate at Zurich Centre Investments, where she was responsible for evaluating and monitoring direct private equity investments. Elizabeth was also a Fund Manager at the F&C Group, a London-based asset management business, where she assisted in the development and management of private equity funds. She was also an Associate in the Financial Institutions Group at the EBRD in London.

Ms. Danes graduated cum laude with a B.S. in International Politics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and received an M.S. in Economics from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium).
