Charles Nicholson co-founded MVision in 2001. He is a seasoned private equity executive and company director with a long history of deal experience.

At MVision, Charles offers a unique perspective given his background as a General Partner and, using this experience, is involved in and advises on all aspects of fund-raising and other strategic issues.

Prior to co-founding MVision, Charles was a partner and founder shareholder of major European buy out firm Cinven. At Cinven he was responsible for sourcing negotiation and management of large buy-outs and other private equity investments. He was also heavily involved with raising the Cinven equity funds.

Prior to this Charles was a Director of Morgan Grenfell in the Corporate Finance Division, involved with mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, flotations, rights issues, private placements, restructurings and general financial advice. This involved working with a wide range of companies, from fast-growing medium sized businesses to major multi-nationals, on a world-wide basis. During his twelve years with Morgan Grenfell, Charles also spent 3 years in New York as Managing Director, C.J. Lawrence Morgan Grenfell Inc.

Charles has a Bachelor of Art degree with Honours from Bristol University.
